Grateful to God! My "Sushi Boats" painting I did for our Mish Mash Show in February '16 just won First Place in the Still Life category of The Artist's Magazine 2016 award. I'm still so happy and surprised with this wonderful honor. Super stoked to see this in prints of the magazine this coming November! Thank you Kevin Moore for always being an amazing teacher/mentor from whom I learned tremendously about art and painting. This sure keeps me continue painting my food series. First of all, Thank Ryan Jones, I'm really honor to be a part of the event "The Spirituality of Wine: Exploring the joys of wine and feasting ". I had a lot of fun times with all my friends and interesting people. Thanks to people who bought the tickets and other who come to the event. Special excited forChristina Lu and Matthew Lee, they are now own one of my painting. I know the painting found a great home.
